Biosketch
Mr. Hoffman did post-graduate studies in the fields of Sociology, Socio-Gerontology and Theology at the Universities of Northwest and Pretoria. He is currently affiliated with the University of Pretoria as part-time lecturer and associate researcher in Gerontology. His research interests include intergenerational studies and he currently serves as editorial board member of the “International Journal of Intergenerational Relationships: programs, policy, and research” – The Haworth Press. Mr. Hoffman is the current president of the South African Gerontological Association (SAGA) and it also actively involved in various practical programmes and projects in the field of ageing in South Africa and Africa.
