Biosketch
Ms Freeman is a PhD student at the London School of Economics concerned with HIV among older people in Kenya. She holds an MSc in Demography and Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge. Ms Freeman has worked in South Africa as a Junior Demographer at the Africa Centre for Health and Population Studies, University of KwaZulu Natal and has conducted research for a number of international health and development NGOs in which programmes were developed and coordinated by older people.
