Biosketch
Mr. Petros is a Senior Researcher in the Social Aspects of HIV/AIDS and Health Programme at the HSRC. He obtained an MPhil in Public Health at the University of the Western Cape and holds a National Diploma in Public Health and a Certificate in Adult Education from the University of Cape Town South Africa. He is currently a registered Public Health doctoral student at the University of Cape Town’s School of Public Health. Before joining the HSRC, he spent a number of years as a Community Health Developer in the shantytowns of Cape Town. He furthermore worked as a research assistant at the University of the Western Cape in the Community Health Science Department and as a Tutor at the University of Cape Town.
