EIT Health Active Ageing Oxford Summer School

By 2040, nearly one in seven people in Western Europe is projected to be over the age of 75. With many countries facing similar predictions, supporting the ageing population to live healthier lives is necessary to address functional loss – both mental and physical.

How can we tackle the challenges of the ageing population and develop disruptive and scalable solutions?

Book your place for a three-week intensive innovation programme hosted by University of Oxford - Saïd Business School, the Sorbonne University, in Paris and the Oxford Academic Health Science Network (hosted by Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) where you will develop and generate new business cases.

You will work on real-challenges raised by the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing by implementing the FORTH methodology, which doubles the effectiveness of the innovation process and is implemented worldwide by organisations both in the profit and non-profit sector, and healthcare organisations.

Who should attend?

Undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline (e.g. MSc, DPhils / PhDs, post doctorates and early career researchers - and well qualified applicants from the undergraduate community and new professionals).

Please note there are only 30-35 places available.
