About the Speaker
Dr Dylan Kneale, UCL
Dr Dylan Kneale’s research focusses on issues around public health and inequalities across the life course, and he is particularly interested in ageing, sexuality, social exclusion, and evidence informed decision-making; as well methods involving evidence synthesis and secondary data analysis.
He has recently published research on methods for enhancing the usefulness of meta-analytic evidence across different settings, the use of logic models in research, applying synthesis methods to understand complex interventions, health inequalities including among LGBTQ+ people particularly in later life and during the COVID-19 pandemic, and social isolation and loneliness among older people.
Dylan leads a module on Ageing and Society, co-leads a module on Public Health, and teaches about research methods across different levels including quantitative methods and short courses on evidence synthesis, QCA and logic models.
