The future of supported housing

Dr Kate Hamblin is speaking today at the Housing Quality Network (HQN) event - The future of supported housing.

With uncertainty surrounding the future funding of supported housing, social landlords are having to make big decisions about the viability of key services offered to some of the country's most vulnerable people.

But, following the statement in the House of Commons by the Work and Pensions Secretary and the imminent publication of the long-awaited joint DWP/DCLG strategic review, some much needed clarity is beginning to emerge.

To help housing associations and local authorities understand the policy landscape and develop new strategies, HQN is bringing together some of the sector's leading supported housing providers to explore the implications of the review and discuss their own plans for the future.
