Dr George W Leeson was interviewed by Sky News Live in response to a debate sparked by a widely publicised Nature paper from 2016 suggesting that human lifespan has a limit of around 115 years, a claim that prompted extraordinary levels of criticism from the scientific community. Five groups of researchers have now published a series of formal rebuttals that were published on 28th June in Nature Communications Arising.
