Nobel Prize Dialogue Seoul 2017: The Age to Come


On 30 October 2017, Nobel Prize Dialogue was held in Seoul. Nobel Laureates, key opinion leaders, policy makers, students, researchers and the general public met to discuss The Age to Come, exploring the challenges with an ageing population and how AI could support humans.

Together with around 20 scientists and experts, five Nobel Laureates were attending the dialogue: Serge Haroche, Nobel Prize in Physics 2012, Robert Huber, Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1988, Finn Kydland, Prize in Economic Sciences 2004, Richard Roberts, Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 1993 and Ada Yonath, Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2009. Inspiring lectures, discussions and panels took place at the COEX, Convention and Exhibition Center in Seoul.

Professor Sarah Harper delivered a keynote speech ‘Longevity, Life Expectancy and Healthy Life Expectancy'.
