Dr George Leeson has chaired a panel debate on Overpopulation, introducing Nobel Prize Winner Professor Sir John Sulston, diplomat Roger Martin, Chair of Population Matters, and environmentalist Niel Bowerman. The session focused on the impact of unchecked human population growth on the planet, and was part of the Oxford event series 'Think Week'.
Think Week is a week of high-profile events which aims to discuss topical issues as well as general concepts related to religion and philosophy. This year’s theme is “Think About Death”.
