The Hay Festival featured a series of events centered around 'Is the Planet Full?' a collection of essays edited by Professor Ian Goldin (Director, Oxford Martin School) .
Professor Sarah Harper, discussed the dynamics of 21st century population change, and the implications of this for different regions of the world, while Professor Charles Godfray (Director, Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Food) and Professor Yadvinder Mahli (Director, Oxford Centre for Tropical Rainforests) talked about feeding an expanding global population and the effects of humans on biodiversity.
