In a keynote speach at the iMedia Agency Summit in Brighton (24/03/2011) Professor Harper has argued that the wider marketing community needs to rethink its attitude to the ‘silver’ market. Marketers need to forget the concept of age altogether and start marketing to people because of their lifestyles, which are monumentally misunderstood by the industry.
