Care duties take older workers out of jobs market | Sarah Harper


Professor Sarah Harper comments on the economic impact on older workers caring for relatives in the Financial Times.

"Government is pushing the responsibility for caring for our older population on to the ‘mid group’ [aged 50 to 64. Really they should be in full-time work, if they can, in order to be able to increase their late life income,” she said.
