Biosketch

Dr Ayangunna is teaching, among other courses, Ageing to both undergraduates and postgraduate students at the University of Ibadan. He holds Masters degrees in Social Work (M SW) and Public Health (M Ph) respectively; and a Ph.D. in Social Welfare. The social work career of Dr Ayangunna started right from his training days in Social Development and Administration at the University of Lagos and he worked at various social welfare settings including the old peoples’ home at Yaba, Lagos.

• To train social workers in geriatric social work for research

• Interviews for qualitative information gathering and questionnaires for quantitative data are used
