Biosketch

Dr. Bloom has more than 20 years of geriatric medicine experience including in-patient and outpatient primary and consultative care, extensive teaching at all levels (medical school, residency, fellowship and practicing physicians), major administrative roles including founder and Chief of Geriatric Medicine in Dep’t of Medicine (St Lukes-Roosevelt Medical Center, Columbia School of Medicine), and Vice Chairman of Clinical Affairs in Dep’t of Geriatrics (Mt Sinai School of Medicine). Dr. Bloom is engaged in ongoing consultancy with Lebanon and Taiwan in relation to the development of geriatric training.
