Biosketch
Dr. Gouiaa specialised in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. He is a member of the European Academy for Medicine of Ageing and he completed an advanced programme in geriatrics in Switzerland.
He participated in various national and internatiponnal conferences and seminars in the field of ageing and is a founder member and chairman of the Tunisian Association of Gerontology. In collaboration with the International Institute of Ageing – United Nations (INIA) four training programmes in gerontotoly were organized in Tunisia.
