Biosketch

Joel Negin is Lecturer in International Public Health at the University of Sydney and a Research Fellow at the Menzies Centre for Health Policy. His research focuses on HIV among older adults, multi-sectoral development in sub-Saharan Africa as well as aid effectiveness in the Pacific.  Joel has lived and worked throughout Africa on research and projects with African governments, UN agencies and NGOs.  He maintains an ongoing affiliation with the Earth Institute at Columbia University where he previously worked.
