Biosketch

Catharina Nord is an architect SAR/MSA and associate professor in healthcare building design who has in later years focused on older people, care and housing issues in Sweden. She wrote her doctoral thesis about hospital design in Namibia and also carried out a research project about HIV services and building design in Uganda, then affiliated to Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. From 2006 she is employed by Linköping University at NISAL.
