Biosketch

Dr. Sheila Shaibu is a registered nurse and a lecturer in the Department of Nursing Education at the University of Botswana. She obtained a diploma in general nursing and operating theatre technique from Mpilo general Hospital, Bulawayo; a B.Ed in Nursing from the University of Botswana; and an MSc and PhD in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco. Her areas of specialisation are Community Health Nursing and Nursing Administration. She has published in refereed journals and book chapters and recently collaborated on a WHO multi-country study on Integrated Health Care Responses to rapid population ageing.
