Dr Spitzer has years of experience in different fields of educational and social work (care for the disabled, gerontological work, child and youth welfare, counselling and crisis intervention). His PhD thesis is in education: “Watoto wa mitaani” – Childhood, children’s rights and “street Children” in Tanzania. Results from a field study in Dar es Salaam.
