Qing Zhao is a Ph.D. Candidate at School of Public Administration and Policy, Renmin University of China. Her field of study concerns with retirement income security, pension system and health care system. She has published several journal articles and conference papers on social security in China and international comparisons. She has worked as a short-term expert and operation coordinator of EU-China Social Protection Reform Project and had cultural exchange experiences in Amsterdam, Switzerland and Japan. Currently her research is mainly on the effect of social security on household consumption/saving behavior.
