Eva Maria Trescastro Lopez is an Academic Visitor at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing from 1 September 2018 to 30 November 2018.
Eva obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and PhD in Public Health from the University of Alicante (Outstanding PhD Award of the University of Alicante). She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology and a Professional Specialist Certificate in Food Technology from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. At present, she is a PhD Assistant Professor at the University of Alicante and has been accredited as a temporary lecturer and private university lecturer by the Valencian Agency for Evaluation and Planning (AVAP).
Her main research activity is focused on the analysis of the impact of food policies and community nutrition initiatives in the food and epidemiological-nutritional transition of the Spanish population.
