WenJing Tan was a Visiting Student at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing from May 2019 to November 2019.

She is a 3rd year Ph.D. student at the Institute of Population Research, Peking University. Her field of research concerns population ageing, health of elderly people and persons with disabilities. As an active researcher, WenJing Tan has published in leading academic journals of China.

She is currently working on her research on the effect of using of assistive technology on elderly and disabled people.
