Jiří Černý was a Visiting Student at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing from April 2019 to May 2019.

Jiří is a PhD student from Faculty of Business and Economics, MENDELU Brno (Czech Republic). His focus on age-related topic began by studying strategies and motivations of Generation Y employees. It introduced him to professionals both in academics and business and attracted him to look deeper into an ageing population in the labour market. Now, he opens cooperations with experts across Europe to come up with ideas and ways of implementation of how could employers, especially in SMEs, support their employees in retirement timing.
