Dr. iur. Silvia Pernice-Warnke, LL.M. (University of Edinburgh) was an Academic Visitor at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing from 22nd to 26th October 2018.

She studied law at the University of Wuerzburg, Germany and the University of Padova, Italy (undergraduate studies) as well as the University of Edinburgh (postgraduate studies). She holds a doctoral degree from the University of Wuerzburg. Currently, she is a research assistant at the Faculty of Law, University of Cologne, Germany.

Her professorial dissertation focuses on demographic change, intergenerational justice and participation.
