Lukasz Jurek is an economist and gerontologist. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Social Policy at Wroclaw University of Economics, Poland.
His research interests focus on socio-economic aspects of population ageing, and especially on financing long-term care, balancing work and eldercare, age management and retirement decisions.
During his stay at Oxford University Lukasz will conduct a research project on social and behavioral determinants of retirement decisions.
