Ms Ana Javed was an Academic Visitor at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing from September 2019 to December 2019.

Ansa Javed obtained her MS degree in Economics (2019) from the Department of Economics, University of Peshawar, Pakistan. She also holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Peshawar, Pakistan.  Her dissertation concerned development issues such as Inequality and Economic Mobility of Majority and Minority Tribes among the Pashtuns of Pakistan. She was awarded with a Hard Working Scholar Certificate during her participation in the Young Sinologist Program (2018), a program sponsored by the Government of China. She is also a member of editorial board of International Journal on Agricultural and Environmental Research (IJAER).

Presently, Javed occupies an administrative position in the Admissions Office of Women University Mardan, Pakistan. She is also rendering her voluntary services to marginalized and illiterate women at the Community Centre for Women Empowerment.

Her main areas of research focus on multilayered developmental issues; she is also a visiting faculty member in the Departments of Political Science and Economics in Women University Mardan.
