Hogeun Lim was a Visiting Academic from 15 December 2021 to 31 December 2022. He was a policy manager at the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare, where he worked as a manager in social welfare policy, basic livelihood security policy, emergency medical policy, planning and coordination, and human resources departments. He recently worked as a director with an interest in community care services for the elderly, expansion of social service supply through consumer voucher support, and welfare technology to support service providers. He received a BA in Political Science from Sogang University in South Korea and a MA in Public Administration from Syracuse University in the US.

He is currently working on policy proposals for housing, medical care, and social care services for the Ageing In Place of the elderly.
