Dr Jia (Jessica) Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She obtained her doctoral degree from the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, The University of Hong Kong in 2017. During 2016-2017, she was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar in the Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work in the University of Southern California, USA.

Dr. Li’s research specifically focuses on three interconnected areas in social gerontology: (1) familial and non-familial intergenerational relationship; (2) explicit and implicit ageism, and (3) age-inclusiveness in technology use and design. She has published widely in internationally renowned journals such as Aging and Mental Health, Health and Social Care in the Community, Ageing and Society, BMC Geriatrics, Computers in Human Behaviours and so forth.
