Xue Xiao was a visiting Ph.D. student from September 2023 to March 2024 at the Oxford Institution of Population Ageing. She is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Chinese Academy of Social Science, China. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 2020. 

Xue’s current research interest is the welfare, family and care of older adults in rural China.
