Linxin Liu

Visiting Student

Linxin Liu is a visiting student at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Vanke School of Public Health, Tsinghua University. Previously, she earned her master's degree in Epidemiology and Health Statistics from the West China School of Public Health, Sichuan University, and her bachelor's degree in Preventive Medicine from the School of Public Health, Nanchang University.

Her research interests lie in exploring the interplay of environmental factors, genetic risk, and socioeconomic status on healthy aging.

During her stay at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, she plans to investigate how will the living environment impact the brain structures, functions, and cognition, comparing different old population cohorts from China and the UK.
