Kamilia Tanjung was a visiting PhD student at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing.

She is a Doctoral Researcher at the Unit of Health Sciences and Gerontology Research Center (GEREC) at Tampere University, Finland. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Occupational Gerontology which is funded by the Research Council of Finland. Her study investigates the association between psychosocial and physical work demands with the risk of all-cause mortality in older age. She utilizes individual-participant data from multiple cohort studies on ageing from the UK, Finland, France, and the US. The overarching aim of her PhD study is to calculate the burden of all-cause mortality in older age attributable to midlife work exposures.
