Yingying Wang  was a Visiting Student at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing from September 2024 to March 2025.

She is a PhD candidate of Demography at Peking University. She obtained the Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Nankai University and the Master’s degree in Demography at Renmin University of China. 

During the past years as a graduate researcher, she focused on the field of active ageing, social participation of the older adults and the community age-friendly environment in China.

During her stay at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, she plans to explore social participation and influencing factors of older adults; age-friendly communities and supportive policies for an ageing society in the UK.
