Zhuo Wang is a Visiting PhD Student at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing from November 2024 to May 2025.
She is a PhD candidate in Human Geography at Peking University in China. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Urban Management from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
Zhuo’s research interests lie in urban infrastructure and public service, with a greater emphasis on community care for older adults and age-friendly community planning. She has published several academic papers, addressing the topics of the operational mechanism of time banking and the collaborative supply of community elderly care. During her stay at Oxford, Zhuo hopes to explore the interaction of place and older people, absorb the advanced experience of community care in the UK, and provide international references for the population ageing in China.
