Xiaoxuan Liang is a visiting student at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing from October 2025 to April 2026.

She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the Institute of Population Research, Peking University, China. She also holds a Master’s degree in Geography from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Her major is Social Gerontology, with a research focus on elderly families. Specifically, her work examines how family structures are changing in the context of population ageing and what factors influence these transformations.
