Yang Kaiyi is a visiting student at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing from October 2025 to October 2026.
She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Public Administration at the School of Public Policy and Administration, Central South University, China.
Her research focuses on government-led reforms in the healthcare service system, particularly on how digital governance tools can empower health service delivery in rural areas.
During her visit to the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, she will concentrate on older adults healthcare in rural communities, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods to explore public policy solutions for addressing population ageing from a public management perspective.
