Hao Chen is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Hunan University and a Distinguished Member of the China Computer Federation (CCF). With over 20 years of experience in academia and industry, his work focuses on advanced computing, artificial intelligence, big data, and digital technology innovation.

Professor Chen has served as principal investigator for one National Key Research and Development Program project and three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He holds more than 20 granted invention patents and has made sustained contributions to technology innovation, digital transformation, and industry–university–research collaboration.

He currently serves as Vice Director of the Provincial Key Laboratory of Big Data and Industry Applications. His additional appointments include Director of the Hunan Overseas Returned Scholars Association and member of the Intelligent Service Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. He also serves as an independent director of several listed companies and as a mentor for technology startups, innovation incubation, and commercialization.

Professor Chen has received numerous provincial- and ministerial-level scientific and technological honors, including the First Prize of the China Industry–University–Research Innovation Achievement Award, the First Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award from the Chinese Institute of Electronics.
