The General Graduate School, CHA University and the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing

The Oxford Institute of Population Ageing is pleased to announce an exciting collaborative agreement with The General Graduate School, CHA University, Republic of Korea.

Department of Active Aging Industry : This master's degree program offers a pathway to impact global change in the growing field of aging industry. The program provides multidisciplinary theoretical framework and specific experiences related to aging industries. Students have opportunities to become a business leader and a life consultant who can develop products and services, and coordinate of health, economy and social activities in later life.

Agreement:

A three year co-operation agreement has been established which

  • Exchanges of students and academic staffs
  • Joint research activities, including seminars, conferences and public lectures
  • Exchange of publications, academic materials and other information
  • Participation in Graduate research programmes
  • Such other projects for mutual benefit that are agreed upon by both parties

 

Key to this initiative will be the link of Professor Dr. Se Jong Kim, Dean of the General Graduate School, Professor Dr. Jung Woosik, Dean of the College of Health Science and Dr. Seung-Min Park, Assistant Professor at the Department of Active Aging Industry, and a former DPhil student of the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing. Representing the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing will be Professor Sarah Harper.

We look forward to a continuation of this fruitful relationship and an even greater expansion of activities which will mutually benefit both institutions.
