About the Speaker
Professor Christopher Mark Davis, Professorial Research Fellow
Chris has been a Professorial Research Fellow at Oxford Institute of Population Ageing since 2016 and an academic at Oxford University for 30 years, until 2017 as the specialist in command and transition economies jointly in Economics and Area Studies. Since 2013 he has held part-time academic research positions in Moscow at the Russian Presidential Academy of the National Economy and Public Administration and the Higher School of Economics. He has carried out research on demography, health, social policy, and ageing related to the USSR/Russia and East Europe throughout his career. His presentation will be based on three recent publications:
