The Institute is delighted to announce that Prof. Suen Yiu Tung, Assistant Professor of Gender Studies Programme has won the Young Researcher Award 2020-21 of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
The Young Researcher Award aims to recognize research accomplishments of young faculty members, and has been established since 2002. Prof. Suen's winning shows the recognition of his excellent research on Gender Studies and LGBT+ law and policy, and the impact he has made towards gender equality in Hong Kong.'
Tung was awarded a DPhil in Sociology from the University of Oxford under the supervision of Prof George Leeson.
