The Institute’s Director, Dr. George W. Leeson, spoke at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences’ public engagement workshop on Monday 14 May at the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford. This was part of the SCALS (Studies in Co-creating Assisted Living Solutions) programme of research, headed by Professor Trish Greenhalgh. Dr Leeson spoke about the Institute’s work and especially its work with the therapeutic robot Paro, and participants were themselves able to engage and interact individually and as groups with Paro.
