The Institute's Co-director, Dr. George W. Leeson, and Associate Research Fellow, Professor Alejandro Klein, have been visiting the University of Malaga, Spain, this week May 9th - 13th.
Both Dr. Leeson and Professor Klein gave seminars and Master Classes at the Department of Constitutional Law and Sociology, Faculty of Economics.
The seminars were convened by Professor Marta Ortega Gaspar, a former Visiting Researcher at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, as part of a series on Global Social Change and a series on Vulnerability in Old Age.
Dr. Leeson spoke about the dynamics of population ageing and about homelessness in later life, while Professor Klein spoke about poverty in old age in Latin America.
Dr. Leeson also met with members of the two departments to discuss and develop future avenues of research collaboration.
