Oxford Institute of Population Ageing at the Oxford Literary Festival

The Sunday Times Oxford Literary Festival has featured a talk by Sarah Harper, who introduced Lewis Wolpert's lecture 'You’re Looking Very Well: The Surprising Nature of Getting Old' . The event, held Christ Church College, Oxford, on 9th April, was part of the session: ASPECTS OF AGEING: The Good, the Bad & the Not So Bad’, organized by Age UK.

Lewis Wolpert, distinguished biologist and octogenarian, has explored the scientific background and the implications of our ageing population, covering everything from ageism to euthanasia to anti-ageing cream and, through it all, tried to understand his own ageing.
