The Oxford Institute of Population Ageing has co-authored 'People and the Planet', a major policy report commissioned by the Royal Society.
The study brought together 22 leading experts on global population, consumption and the environment, including representatives from the Institute of Science, Ethics and Innovation, the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, and the African Institute for Development Policy.
'People and the Planet' has been launched in London on 26 April 2012, with keynote speeches from Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP, Secretary of State for International Development, Nobel Laureate Sir John Sulston FRS, and Professor Sarah Harper.
