Sarah Harper consults for Demographic Change Committee, House of Lords


The Demographic Change Committee, House of Lords, has been established to look at the impact of an ageing population on public services, such as health and social care. On 16 October 2012 Peers consulted a panel of experts on the way in which population ageing is affecting  the provision of public services, such as health and social care. Peers took evidence from:

  • Baroness Greengross, International Longevity Centre
  • John Kennedy, Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust
  • Professor Pat Thane, King's College University
  • Professor Sarah Harper, Oxford University
  • Professor Philip Rees, University of Leeds
