The World Economic Forum Global Risks Network in collaboration with the World Demographic & Ageing Forum (WDA Forum) and Swiss Re have hosted the multi-stakeholder expert workshop 'The demographic divide - economic challenges of an ageing society', at the Zurich Swiss Re Centre for Global Risk on 25th August 2010.
A roundtable workshop on Population Dynamics, chaired by Professor Sarah Harper, has examined the factors driving fertility and mortality rates and the associated economic implications on society of an increasing dependency ratio.
