The Third China Ageing Research Forum was held in Xi'an Greenland Pico International Convention and Exhibition Center on 9-10 September 2016. The Forum which was co-sponsored by the Center for Ageing and Health Research, Xi’an Jiaotong University, brought together international experts and scholars from across the country to discuss challenges China and its economy are facing as a result of population ageing.
Professor Sarah Harper delivered a keynote speech entitled ‘Designing a policy framework for an ageing population’.
Dr George Leeson spoke on ‘The impacts of increasing longevity’.
