Congratulations to former Institute visitors Yongjie Yon and Dr Younga Kim on recent career and funding successes


In June 2016 Yongjie Yon  started as a Technical Officer in the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe in the division of Non-Communicable Diseases and Promoting Health through the Life-Course.  He is working in the area of Violence and Injury Prevention and Healthy Ageing which include projects in the area of Age-Friendly Environment in Europe, Elder Abuse, Falls Prevention, Child Maltreatment, Intimate Partner Violence and Road Safety.

Dr Younga Kim was successful in obtaining got the postdoctoral fellowship funded by the EU at Université catholique de Louvain, with her proposal of "Women’s Retirement Intentions and Work-Family Life History: A Comparison between Belgium, France, Germany and South Korea".
