One of the Institute’s Associate Research Fellows, Dr. Hafiz T.A. Khan, is taking up a new position from 5th June 2017 as Professor of Public Health at the University of West London (UWL), UK. He will be joining with other social science and healthcare research group at UWL and will continue his research in the areas of health, demography, and gerontology. His current research projects include “Demographic change and elderly care needs in GCC countries”, “Japan’s ageing prison populations”, “Physical activity and well-being of elderly in Brazil”, “Skill shortage of geriatric care among Nigerian healthcare professionals”, and “Healthy ageing in Ghana”.
