Dr George W. Leeson, the Institute’s Co-Director, was invited to attend the G-20Y 2016 Summit held in St. Moritz, Switzerland September 21st-25th to speak on Responding to the challenges posed by an ageing world population.
G-20Y Association brings together every year approximately 150 individuals in corporate executive leadership positions from the most prestigious leading companies in the world, G20 countries and their sectors for the annual G-20Y Summits.
The Global Demographic Developments Committee of the G-20Y Summit 2016 reflected on the challenges and opportunities of having a world with an ageing population and the great opportunities that can come with it.
The cross committee also touched on some of the key conditions affecting the health and wellness of an ageing population, ideas for directions of future jobs in demand in the ageing population as well as the pressure, talent needs and talent loss risks that occur as a result of this phenomenon.
