Dr George Leeson gave a keynote address at the at the European Theatre Convention (ETC) International theatre conference and Art of Ageing 1st European theatre and science festival at Teatrul National Timisoara, Romania, April 16-19, 2015.
The Art of Ageing, initiated by the ETC with the support of the Culture Programme of the European Union, is an artistic project which aims at bringing the burning issue of our ageing societies and the resulting challenges via innovative art creation and theatre co-production to international audiences.
The five new stage productions, showcased during the “1st European Theatre and Science Festival”, dealt with the experience of ageing, exploring all aspects of the phenomena of Europe’s ageing societies.
